Pat started writing music and learned to play the guitar while severing a 5 year sentence on federal Racketing charges. Pat never made a deal went to trial and the jury found him not guilty of several charges but the FBI just wouldn't let him go. While in prison Pat started performing for the other inmates. A few years later, Tex, Merle Haggard’s manager, was so impressed by Pat’s songwriting, he agreed to manage him. After Pat was released, he wrote theme songs for the National Finals Rodeo (NFR),Indian National Finals Rodeo (INFR), the XFL, and the movie “Poker Run.” Pat has performed for Cheyenne Frontier Days, the INFR and performs annually for the NFR in Vegas.
Pat was in attendance at the Route 91 Concert in Las Vegas that ended in tragedy. During the event, he assisted many to safety. In response and to promote healing for the Route 91 and Las Vegas community, he wrote the songs “58 Angels” and “Forever Family.” He donated all the proceeds to victims, survivors and their families. Through performing and recording, Pat has helped to generate many thousands of dollars for Route 91 charities.
